Whenever you mention a free sailboat to anyone with experience, the initial comment is always “run away”. Now I can understand the theory behind it, but I also find it so wasteful! I decided to not only take on the huge project but to also document the journey. I’m hoping to inspire more people to be braver and take on those daunting project boats out there. I will task myself with not only improving or starting new boat building skills, I will also look to improve my videography. All of which I am new to!

I seem to have hit my head at some point taking on the filming and DIY rebuild of Puffin as I’ve also decided to go completely electric and rebuild the inside to rival even some of the most up to date boats. I’m not talking just gadgets but even the design and strategy I use to place everything.
